For the past several months, teams across Duke University Health System have been working to ensure that patients’ introduction to the new Cancer Center is as welcoming and convenient as their first experience in the building.

In order to make our patients feel comfortable coming to the Cancer Center for the first time, we've developed a series of video tours that will be posted online for patients to view before their first appointment.

The first videos give step-by-step instructions on driving to the campus, parking in the garage, and getting to the facility. Once a patient enters the building on the virtual tour, they can also see the new amenities featured in the building, the Patient Resource Center, Boutique, Quiet Room, Cafe and Specialty Pharmacy. Then, the videos also show a patient how to navigate through the building to get to their appointment destinations.

These videos will be posted on the Duke Cancer Institute web site, as well as on DukeHealth.org.
